CBT (Test of Competence part 1) OSCE (Test of Competence part 2)

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Language

English: IELTS Academic or OET

Visa / immigration

Health and Care Worker visa

Check eligibility and open an NMC online application.
Prove your English with IELTS Academic or OET.
Pass the computer-based test (CBT).
Submit your full application and documents to the NMC.
Pass the OSCE (usually after arriving with your employer) and join the register.

CV format: NHS-style CV, 2–4 pages, no photo or date of birth. Lead with registration status, then clinical experience, audit/QI, teaching and governance.
